California Local Webs is my new site that provides informative web pages about state and local news, articles and other resources for Southern California residents. It's a simple site minus all the bells and whistles and hosted with a free web host. It's an excellent way to promote Charm’s online network of published articles, specifically California related content. Visitors can get insight on diverse topics related to California and California residents.Some of the articles are about categories specific only to California, while others deal with issues that affect the world, including Californians.

Since recent Constant Content (CC) submissions met with the dreaded "Rejection" emails, I had no problem directing my attention elsewhere the last two or three days. It was really a bummer to get the notifications. Once again, I thought I was finally figuring CC out. Big mistake! I don't think there is any figuring them out. (Okay - I sound like sour grapes :-) Anyway, that was one reason I switched gears this week and ended up launching California Local Webs.

Locals will be enlightened by interesting, articles that inform and entertain. But whether you reside in sunny California or you're just interested in the state of California, you’ll find something worth reading at California Local Webs. Every California related article in my article network has been reprinted on the California Local Webs site. Some articles I foolishly gave away the *reprint rights to, so I simply provided a brief summary and a link to where the article is published (not on the California Local Webs site).

Dividing Attention and Loyalties

While I’ve been trying hard to divide my attention equally between all 5 of my active blogs, in addition to all my other writing, it has been a difficult task. It is just too time consuming. As a result, I’m not able to do any one thing effectively. When I devote time to the blogs, my article writing suffers (which is my real bread and butter). Then I get so behind, I can’t afford to take time out to market and promote my articles effectively. Now, with the website, that means more on the plate.

Decrease Posting
I've decided to DECREASE POSTING here and focus more attention on my That's Still News to Me blog and the new California Local Webs website. All 5 of my writing related blogs have helped me to realize that there is nothing I love more than blogging about writing, except writing. But trying to keep up with regular posting and all my other online activities is unrealistic and counterproductive.

Those readers who want to continue keeping up with Charm Denise Baker articles and online activities can frequent the new site. Periodic updates will be made to this blog no less than once a month, however topics normally covered here may be found on the California Local Webs site in the "Online Writing" category section.

Taking Advantage of Constant Content's "Usage" Option

I finally wrote a couple of articles for Constant Content this week. I have only been tinkering with the site lately, because of so many issues when it comes to getting your work "Accepted". Today, I submitted: Using Liquid Chlorophyll to Increase Your Male Libido to them, an article I rewrote and submitted as a response to a Public Request.

I also found something out that I wasn't aware of about the site. When I submitted an article (not a Public Request) for strictly "usage", I received a note in my inbox, informing me that this option is only available for material that has already been published elsewhere.

I normally indicate a "usage" amount, along with the "fullrights" and "unique" rights whenever I submit to a Public Request. Since I never got the notice about pre-publication before, I assume this is only for articles that you submit on your onw (non-public request articles). This was good news to me, to learn that you can offer articles that have been previously published and continually earn a usage fee.

When I found this out, I quickly popped back over to Associated Content and reviewed their stand on non-exclusive content. They allow you to offer first publication (non-exclusive ) rights, even for articles that they pay a small "upfront payment" for. I normally ignored this option and just allowed them exclusive rights. I now realize, if I had offered the 130 articles I've published there this year as non-exclusive, I could have used them at CC as well! Oh well, live and learn.

Obviously, now, when I submit articles to AC, I'm writing them with CC in mind also. This is a great way to maximize your earnings that come from article writing at Constant Content.

My recent articles for Associated Content are are still pending publication because the website has slowed down in reviewing articles considerably, since Yahoo has taken over. I hope to over some of these titles at CC for usage, once they are actually published.

Constant Content Requested Articles Keep On Coming

I haven't written for them in a little while, yet the Constant Content requested articles keep on coming in my inbox and email! The influx of article assignments have made me want to take another hard look at the site and start submitting work to them again.

Even though I haven't been writing articles for CC, I decided to maintain this blog, because it is full of beneficial information for writers, regardless of who they write for. I often refer back to important points about making my writing appealing and creating material that requires little editing. But as I continue to get requested assignments, especially ones that have appealing topics, I realize I'm letting countless opportunities to get paid pass me by.

Since I recently organized all my blogs that are currently active, I have freed myself up to create a better schedule. While I am extremely anxious to get back to cranking out articles for Associated Content, and add to my 100 plus published articles, I am also ready to jump back into writing for CC. Even just creating and posting one or two articles a week can prove highly profitable if the right customer comes along.

If you have been writing for Constant Content but stopped, or if you have been attempting to get work sold but not having any success, this blog can help. I provide different tips and advice that has worked for me, such as writing about topics that can help people. The Benefit of Usage Rights

If you've written articles for Constant Content before, you probably already know the benefit of selecting the Usage Rights option. This may not seem to pay as much as allowing Full Rights, however, in the long run, you could end up making a nice little sum off just one article. Usage Right enable customers to more or less rent the article. They pay a agreed upon amount for a one time usage. They are not allowed to remove your byline, nor can they modify the article in anyway. The article remains the possession of the writer and is available for other customers to "use" or one customer can still purchase the article for Full Rights.

Don't Limit Your Options

When you write articles for Constant Content, you can make sure you don't limit your options by striving only to sell your articles outright. The main benefit of this site is that writers are able to monopolize on the various means of payment. That means using the Usage Rights option, as well as the Full Rights and the Unique Rights options. Constant Content allows flexibility on how you choose to make your articles available for sale. Many writers choose the Usage option and have done quite well selling their articles this way.

As you start building content for sale at Constant Content, be sure to pay attention to the advantages that the "Usage Rights" option will afford you.

Writers Get Smart And Write Requested Content

Frustrated writers get smart and write customer requested content right away. I strongly recommend the Requested Content on Constant Content’s website. I encourage everyone to check it out. You can do nothing but learn from submitting your writing there, no matter how ticked off the editors may tend to make some writers! Those editors know exactly what it takes to write for customers requesting web content. The sole purpose of those customers is to make money via your articles. This type of writing requires a distinct style and strategy that is different from what many writers are accustom to.

CC Writers - Figure Out What Editors Want And Give It To Them

Constant Content writers can watch and figure out what editors want, then just give it to them. Stop fretting about what you disagree or disapprove of. If you want to write and get paid for your writing, sometimes (lots of times, in fact) you have to give in to those in the driver seat. What? You thought YOU were in the driver seat? NOT!

You’re the writer, and there is ALWAYS going to be someone else whose opinion you have to consider. In this particular case, it’s CC. Editors reprimand or ask for rewrites, with the customer in mind. THEIR customer! If they make a request, so be it. Writers shouldn’t take offense. Make the needed changes and keep it pushing, or better yet, learn the game! Or in other words, figure out how they want it, and once you get it right, try to always write and present the work the same way.

To elaborate on this point, I previously wrote an in-depth post about the Requested Content section on CC. This is such an important point, it constantly requires emphasizing. So I recently re-emphasized the need to concentrate on the Requested Content section. I wrote a brief article about getting paid instead of just frustrated.
The information I included in the article was based on my recent experience just this year. As I mentioned in the last post, I made a point to monitor the progress of two articles that were posted just hours after the “request” for the assignments.

I saw the request in my CC Inbox, I did my research and quickly wrote the article. Upon submitting the article, I noticed (via the websites rating system for your “keywords” used in the excerpt) one particular keyword density was lower than I wanted. I used some “leftover” research and gave a second article a different slant on the same topic. I inserted the additional keywords (being careful not to omit any of the original keywords in the edited version) and submitted that article as well. I checked the status today, since this was the last day the customer had to keep the article for exclusive viewing. To my delight, the customer had purchased both articles! YAY!!! My experiment worked and now I am sure I will able to get more articles purchased using this method.

Providing Fresh Titles For The New Year

Why not start 2010 off by providing fresh titles to Constant Content. The titles I recently submitted were article topics that I'd written on the previous month. Taking the time to give the topic and the material a different slant enables you to create a new article from an existing one, without doing a lot more research. I was able to submit two new articles to CC the first Monday of the New Year by using this method.

Try A Different Payment Approach

In addition to submitting my own titles this year (instead of searching through the Requested Content), I'm trying a different payment approach for the new articles. Since I typically choose to write content based on preselected topics, I normally use Constant Content's guidelines for payment amount. This time, I selected only a "usage price" and "unique price" payment option. Choosing the usage option and setting it at a competitive rate allows you to get more mileage out of popular article submissions.

Whether you decide to tackle some of the REQUESTED CONTENT, or you do like I did and supply your own titles, do yourself a favor, do it quick. Today is ALREADY the ninth day into the new year. Don't wait to start searching or soliciting for your writing assignments. Early in the year, early in the month, early in the week and early in the day. Start the year off double time, or before you know it, Christmas will be here!

Maintain Discipline In Writing

With the daily influx of writing assignments on CC, it's crucial to maintain discipline in writing. Especially if you also do a lot of article marketing for other websites. Since the time spent writing one article for CC could be used to self-promote multiple articles, I have to stay focused on why I write for Constant Content. Whereas marketing articles for ad revenue fluctuates and benefits me later than sooner, writing for CC pays me sooner than later! That is reason enough to write something for CC on a daily basis!

Doing lots of marketing, it's very easy to lose sight of the above fact. Once again, I have found it necessary to set up a new routine (I KNOW - NOT AGAIN- But at least I'm trying!), in order to write and submit at least one article daily.

My new schedule (not agenda, although I have a new one of those too)

MORNING 8am - 1pm PROMOTION
I need time to work with every online activity that I do, so that I can make sure I've maximized my earnig potential.

AFTERNOON / EVENING 2:30pm - 6pm WRITE REQUESTED CONTENT
Based on my own individual circumstances, I've determined this to be the prime time for me to sit down with PEN & PAPER (not the computer) and write my CC articles. If I can, I'll type them and submit them as well, but for me, the main thing is getting them WRITTEN.

NIGHT 9pm - 12midnight PUBLISH ARTICLES
Now that I've completed a full day that included promoting existing work, and creating new work, I can use this time to tighten everything up and get it published. That means finishing any CC article typing and submitting, as well as tweaking and or uploading hub articles on my other writing income source: HubPages.

If you're a CC writer that is struggling with trying to write and keep everything else in your world together, try creating a schedule that will help you maintain discipline in your writing. The more you work in harmony with your routine, the better you get in writing your articles and getting them purchased.

Constant Content Referral Revenue Rising

Greetings & Salutations Constant Content Writers. I' hope everyone has been as busy as me. That refers not just to your writing endeavors on CC, but in general. In fact, I haven't done any article writing for CC this month, yet I will be getting a PayPal payment anyway. Thanks to the great CC writer referral program (and writers like the ones mentioned below), my referral income is on the rise! I hope you writers are spreading the word to your writer friends. You could be earning writer referral commissions also.

As I continually mention here in my blog posts, as long as you're writing something everyday, it's a good thing. I even made a bit of a retraction on my notion to only do CC writing, although I did qualify the statement at the time I made it. What I actually said was: When you first get started writing for Constant Content, it might be a good ideal to write exclusively for them until you get the hang of things.

If you have already started on the road to writing for CC, even if you haven't had an article purchased yet, you already realize how difficult "just" writing the content they request can be. So you no doubt can understand my concern over writers losing focus right away, especially if they're diverted by other things as well. I know the kind of writer I am myself, and I've been known to throw my hands up in a heartbeat, and move on to the next thing. That, unfortunately won't get you paid. I found that out the hard way. So it is good to have one or two other things to help you stay motivated (among other things), until that first sell and Constant Content payment is accomplished.

My top selling author at Constant Content this month Phillip Gwinn, wrote a wonderful "lens" (article)about his experiences writing for CC. I encourage anyone to read it and get an even better view of Constant Content, for those not getting the help they need from the CC forums, or even from this blog, even though I try to inspire :(

Phillip and the other two writers below would be the first to tell you, it may seem impossible for a minute. You end up saying to yourself, after multiple acceptances (finally), but no purchases: "Dammit! What do these people want from me??? But when you finally get it, that's it. Somehow the rest of your articles just follow suit. You know how they want you to write, and you write it! Then the key after that is: REQUESTED CONTENT DAILY! Something will sell!
Once that happens, you'll begin to see that it was definitely worth all the fuss! You'll be dying to go through the whole process all over again! I'll bet these CC writers would agree:

I haven't did a thing on CC this month but promote the site and try to keep up this and my other blogs. Since I'm finally getting paid from my other blog and my contexual ads that are on various writing articles I've written, I need to make sure everything is getting properly circulated. It's very time consuming, but paying off in the end. I know that my particular nice is marketing and motivating newbies writers to make money, so try as I may to get away from it, that's the kind of writing I regularly keep doing. Instead of constantly trying to fight that fact, I've given into it, to see how it can benefit me best. That is why I've decided to return to posting on what you could call the sister blog to this blog.

Motivating Marketing Newbies(MMN) is actually the BIG sister, because I started that blog before I re-found (boy would CC get me for that one) Constant Content and began writing for them. It's a great little blog and it centers on the affiliate marketer. If anyone does that type of writing, or is struggling to do better and get paid with their affiliate marketing products, check out the MMN blog, after reading this post.

I just want to add in conclusion to this post: If you're discouraged because you see the exciting potential in CC, but haven't been able to realize it yet yourself (monetarily), don't despair. I say it all the time and my own experience has proved it to be so, writing Requested Content as soon as it hits your inbox will get you paid!

Where To Get Help About Constant Content Writing

Looking for honest to goodness writing assignments that pay used to be a problem for new writers, but not anymore, thanks to Constant Content (CC). Author Phillip Gwinn, a CC author, helps new writers understand the process as well as the possible pitfalls for those who are impatient and not focused. Between Phillip's thoroughly researched and detailed article, and the information you find on this blog, there is no reason for ANY sincere writer to be without options.

While CC may not be for everyone, it is definitely a site that will challenge you and your writing ability. It may seem difficult to get started, but consider it like a bicycle that you just learned to ride. Your movements may seem bumpy and unsure at the beginning, but once you get your balance and are on your way, the possibilities are endless!!!

Recognizing A Good Thing!

It is a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless; not everyone that comes in contact with a good thing will recognize it. As great a writing opportunity as Constant Content is, many writers just miss the boat. Sometimes the reason is directly related to a writer's writing abilities (or lack thereof), and sometimes it's just a matter of procrastination.

The writer that is lacking in good writing skills can do many things to improve their writing, and thus improve their opportunities to get paid. Doing so, will help them both at Constant Content, and other writing websites. If needed, there are a whole kit and kaboodle of writing websites and online writing institutions to help you gain better writing skills. There is no shame in taking a writing course or two to improve writing skills, and positioning yourself to be able to earn more money. If you sign up for CC and find that you are having trouble getting your articles accepted, you may want to consider an online writing course.

But what about the writer that is a constant procrastinator? Well, constant procrastination and constant content just don't mix (pun intended:) If you have a tendency to put things off, unless you want to continue putting off GETTING PAID, I suggest you find ways to work on your fault. This is a very costly character flaw, because putting off writing,especially at CC, means putting off paying customers who come to you with their money in their hand. This is definitely NOT a good thing.

So, if you are thinking of signing up for CC, by all means sign up.

Striving To Keep Up With Requested Content

I am finally all settled in and totally ready to get back into a blogging frame of mind! My efforts today, as well as for the remainder of the week, revolve around striving to keep up with Constant Content's requested content. This is something that I have been meaning to do, but prior to today, I was failing at miserably. No matter what I do, other things have managed to divert me from writing requested content when I first get it in my inbox. More about this in a minute, but first:

CONGRATULATIONS TO CONTEST WINNER

I am happy to announce a couple of things today. First of all, I want to extend congratulations to Kelly Reno – the winner of the Referral Contest that I was running when I first started this Blog. The contest was not entirely understood or approved by Constant Content, so rather than engage in any questionable behavior (and jeopardize my standing with CC), I decided to discontinue it. I did, however, indicate that I would honor the first contest winner to accomplish the sale of 3 articles.

Writer Kelly Reno is reported as recently having had not her 3rd but 4th article purchased this week. I was more than happy to award Kelly the $25 contest prize, via PayPal. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN KELLY! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT

As for the other thing I want to report, it really only applies to me. Although it is a personal achievement, it is still Constant Content (CC) related. The fact of the matter is, I believe I have finally created a truly workable as well as flexible writing schedule that will help me successfully keep up with the Requested Content that is available on CC.

CC WRITER'S MAIN MONEY-MAKING SOURCE

As you all know, one of the MAIN MONEY MAKING ADVANTAGES that CC has over other "writer websites" is the requested content assignments. These are daily writing assignments that writers can regularly earn money for. There are numerous writing opportunities that CC makes available on a daily basis. This makes Constant Content one of the best places for writers to earn a decent income with their writing.

Because the customers that are in the “Requested Content” section have asked for certain topics to be written a specific way, they are prepared to pay a higher rate than others typically pay online for content. Posted alongside the request for specific content is the set amount the customer will pay, as well as the requested article length and any other relevant details.

Those writers who have been following this "Constant Content Cash" blog are accustomed to me singing the praises of CC's requested content section. I have wholeheartedly endorsed and promoted the ideal of getting paid more money by keeping up with and submitting requested content, however, no one better than me knows how hard that can sometimes be.

If you have daily requests coming directly to your CC inbox (as I suggested in: Why Constant Content Is A Legitimate Writing Gig!), then you know just how much work is actually available, and believe me, it is a lot! Once again, I emphasize, the BEST way to really take advantage of all the writing assignments and get in on the earnings, is to write DAILY Requested Content DAILY!

That is why today, I successfully completed a schedule that would not allow me to do anything else on my computer until I had:

1. Checked My CC Inbox and Selected the Requested Content That I Want To Write For The Day.

2. Compiled My Research (both online and off), and Printed Out All The Related Material I Plan To Use.

3. Printed Out My Pre-formatted Daily Requested Content Form (That I Specifically Created For CC Articles)

4. Spent 3 Hours Writing Or Completed 2 CC Requested Content Assignments (Whichever Comes First)

I was tickled pink and very proud of myself today after not only sticking religiously to my agenda, but completing it in a timely manner. I was finally able to crank out two Requested Content articles and submit them both. In all honesty, I have to admit that the requests had actually came 3 days ago, but at least they needed several articles and the request is still open. I even checked to see how many articles from the same request had been purchased and there were none. I guess that's why CC ACCEPTED the first of the two articles within an hour of me actually submitting it. The requests are still very much in demand, so I believe both articles have a good chance to be purchased.

In addition to accomplishing my goal of submitting two requested articles, I was able to do some very productive work related to my write for pay blog. This was a good thing too, since I have experienced some exciting activity this week with my Google earnings increase. I needed time to be able to analyze the increase in earnings and the reason for my success. Doing so will allow me to duplicate my efforts on a larger scale. A better schedule was definitely called for. I know that analyzing contextual ad stats and profits is equally important as writing articles, but I also realize Constant Content is definitely a bird in the hand. That's why I'm glad for my new writing agenda. It is well-defined and allows ample time to pay close attention to ALL my writing endeavors so I can monitor and continue to increase my success.

Constant Content Featured On Writing For Pay

Wow! I can't believe it's been over two weeks since I last posted here. I have been extremely busy, both in cyberspace and out! My first totally justifiable reason for not posting is the fact that I moved (my actual physical address changed). I still reside in the same locality, but moving to a different apartment was a true headache! I had to stop working (writing that is - writing is the only thing I refer to as working nowadays) for a whole week. My computer and all the accompanying gadgets were unplugged for a while, both before and after the move. Then I had to re-establish my internet connection, and "yada yada yada!" Anyway, that was my "very good reason" number one for not posting.

The second reason is actually kind of related to Constant Content, so I've only partially neglected the CC blog. I've been working on another blog that is a very in-depth 5 part series regarding writing for pay. Of course, I couldn't write about a topic like "writing for pay", without including something about Constant Content. This is the number one writing site I endorse for really generating a decent writing income.

I also discuss other sites that I have finally been able to start generating income on, but I don't go into too much detail about the sites themselves. While this Constant Content Cash blog is specifically geared towards ways to increase revenue by writing for Constant Content (CC), my newest writing for pay 5 part blog series focuses more on how to write for pay, rather than where to write for pay.

While not meaning to get sidetracked with doing anything other than writing requested articles for CC, I found myself guilty of EXACTLY what I warned everyone against, "watching the kettle boil". I allowed myself to lose a bit of momentum at CC and found myself "waiting" for articles to sale! I have made a few dollars , but the higher paying articles I was hoping to sale have not yet done so. Although I am now back to busying myself with something productive (the new blog, among other things), I realize I have to create a better CC writing agenda, and NOT deviate. Today is Friday, so I figure, by the end of the weekend, I'll be done tying up loose ends with the blog and a few other irons in the fire. Then I can start knocking out some more CC article requests.

Constant Content is having a huge amount of success in acquiring customers! Today alone, there were five new requests in my inbox and it's not even noon yet! I have some of the request details already printed out, and I'll print out some research notes and work on at least one or two articles later. The thing about the Requested Content is, if you don't jump on it right away, as soon as it hits your inbox, your chances for getting a purchase begin to decrease. I trust I'll have some time later to get a submission in. I think I'll rest a little easier tonight if I do. I'll have a sense of accomplishment for the week.

Busy! Busy! Busy! That's The Way I Like It!

It's been a minute since I posted anything, but it's all good, because I've been super busy! Between my article submissions to Constant Content (CC) and my marketing efforts for this blog, the website, and other stuff I'm doing, I barely get a moment to relax. I'm good though, because I love it when I'm writing.

And oh boy - why is marketing in my blood?????? I absolutely get consumed by it, once I get going. I really need to be extra ALERT to this fact, so I don't allow it to over shadow my real money making efforts with CC.

Anyway, I still have a lot to do, but I'll be back no later than this FRIDAY to drop some serious knowledge about CC. I've really discovered a lot of useful stuff, just No time to write it all. Of course, you know a book of some sort is in the making. BE ON THE LOOK OUT!

Customer Deadlines

Okay - one thing before I go: Don't fret if you haven't been notified about any accepted work that you're hoping was PURCHASED. As you know, there are certain things CC requires from customers that posts requests for specific articles to be written. One of those things is an EXPIRATION date for the assignment. The customer has until that date to look through the articles CC makes available to them (each one - exclusively for three days).

Some customers may make a purchase as early as the same day the Request is placed, if they view a submitted article that they are interested in buying (Now you see why it's important to respond to Requested Content ASAP!). They may need the article right away, or they may really like the first thing they read and they don't see the need to keep looking. On the other hand, some customers may wait until the very last moment to actually purchase something. I imagine, they compile a few works that they like, and narrow it down at the end (or until they get so many good options, they decide to go on and choose).

My point in this information is two-fold.

1) Don't let lack of immediate article purchases deter you from writing! If you check the dates on most of the content you're waiting to hear back from, you'll probably find that the customer has a while to make a decision. You don't have time, nor can you afford to wait around on his decision. The work is done, and what happens to it is already set on autopilot. You don't have to do ANYTHING but MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PROJECT!

2) This process is also a good reason to go on and submit articles that are not fresh Requested Content, but the assignment is still "Open". If you have a good feeling about writing something that you came across late, this lets you see that your work still has a chance to be sold anyway.

Now get out there and start your writing day! That's what I'm getting ready to do!

EXCERPTS Should Contain Properly Positioned Keywords

Today's post was almost tomorrow's! (It's a few minutes before midnight) I didn't want to go to bed without remembering to post this important point. I realize I may very well be talking to myself, but just in case I'm not, I want to emphasize the following that I just shared with a new CC author:

QUICK TIP:

When submitting articles, especially for REQUESTED CONTENT keep this in mind: The customer will only see a portion of the article you are submitting, before deciding if they want to purchase it (Constant Content recommends at least 1/3 of the article). Although you EVENLY distribute keywords throughout the article, customers only know what they see in the excerpt. Make sure that the keywords they want to see are sufficiently placed in the portion of the article they will be viewing.

This important point could mean the difference between having an article purchased, versus having that article sit on the shelf for a while.

Set Realistic Writing Goals

I haven't posted in a few days because I seem to keep having to divert my precious time to other stuff. It's really a drag sometimes, when all you want to do is SIMPLY WRITE!

I want to make a short post today, but that doesn't mean it's not an important one. I just wrote an email to a new writing friend, discussing the importance of knowing what kind of writing you want to do, then working out a schedule that allows you time to do it. I said it, realizing that there are a number of things that all of us have to contend with in our individual lives. These things already try to crowd out the time we have available to write. That doesn't even take into account the "unforeseen occurrences that befall us all"! When accidents, emergencies and other unexpected necessities of life are a factor, your well-planned writing schedule can get shot to hell!

That is why it is important to set realistic goals. Writing is your work (regardless of if you do it full time, partime, or somewhere in between), so your long and short term related goals are important. But setting goals so high that you never reach them is counterproductive. When you set your goals (and yes, you need to have more than one), make sure you factor in a "cushion of time" that takes into account the possibility of the unexpected. That way, if things in the day-to-day get a little off course, it won't affect the results of things in the long run. By doing this, the worst thing that can happen is, nothing happens to throw you off course, and you meet your goals way ahead of schedule!

TODAY'S MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I say that with more confidence today, because after today, I fully expect someone to actually be reading these posts! I believe this because I accomplished my mission today of getting this blog more presentable and informative. I look forward to helping the 30 something (and counting!)new referred writers. Once they truly begin to get their feet wet at Constant Content, they will need all the encouragement they can get. I only hope they return to this blog to get it.

Anyway, I'm beat! It's crazy how one little online project can turn into a 24 hour nightmare! I'm about ready to turn in, but not before I share some additional good news.

1) I made a new friend online (NO - not THAT kind of friend:)
I met a young lady in NYC and she welcomes the ideal (as do I) of becoming writing buddies. It's one thing that I've never had, and apparently, we have that in common, as well as our love of writing.

Carolyn, my new buddy, is an accomplished writer, as can be seen by this awe-inspiring article she wrote on the Great Wall Of China. Like most of us great writers (yeah - I said "us"), she has not been getting paid anywhere near what her writing is worth! She will be joining us soon on Constant Content, but I especially look forward to corresponding with her on a number of writer related stuff.

2) While popping over to the Hubpages website to get the url for Carolyn's article, I came across something about another site that pays. I wouldn't have even bothered reading the article, but it sounded like it may have a similar structure as CC, although there appears to be a CAP on their standard payments. They are said to pay from $5 - $15. While this is not as great as CC, if it is legitimate pay and they don't want you to write a whole book for it, it might be worth checking out. I already signed up and I'm going through the waiting period (unlike CC also), but I won't post any details until I know the real "skinny".

How goes your week? Mine is okay so far. In fact, if all goes well, it's better than okay! I actually got my 1st Private Request on Constant Content yesterday. Well kinda sorta. Here's the deal:

I responded to a Public Request from a customer that is looking to build an ongoing association (for about a year) with a writer to do a series of articles. I actually just submitted one 400-word article (per his description), in hopes of at least getting in a little on so many requests. Well my article was submitted to the customer for acceptance, which he did accept it.

The customer sent me a mail alert via CC and requested an additional article (site review) to help him determine if I can proceed writing the remaining 20 plus articles! I'm not sure if I'd write them exclusively, or if he has selected one or two other writers. Either way, I'm elated, as well as flattered about the request.

Article Housecleaning Can Be Profitable

Okay, I finally got around to going through some of my previously written articles that I have lying around collecting dust. So far, I've only edited two of them and submitted them for publication and purchase at Constant Content. I think they will probably sell this week, because they actually pretty interesting and somewhat timely. Sometimes it just takes making the writing available to the right people. I have no doubt that now, they at least will be showcased where they have a better chance to sell.

It's funny too, because when you go back and read things that you wrote already, you discover somethings about your writing. You're also able to see your own growth (or lack of it). Anyway, I'd been putting off the "chore" of going through the articles, because I just didn't feel like doing it, but I have to admit I enjoyed it once I got started. I just took a break so I can eat and shower for the day, but I think I'll resume my "housecleaning" later. I have another ten articles to go over. That doesn't even include the stuff written prior to this year. I haven't been through that stuff yet, so who knows what I'll end up publishing before it's all over.

Once I get this task done (completely), I plan on focusing my attention on writing, 110%. While I'm still trying to recruit other writers, I was truly more concerned with informing them about the opportunities with CC. Unfortunately, I'm finding this to be a time consuming market endeavor that I don't want to get caught up with again.

Anyway, I'm starved and I'm sure I'm funky, so I'm out for now.

Taking The Day To Reflect

This has truly been an interesting and profitable week. I still have a lot to do, but one thing I have learned (the hard way) is, you can't do everything in one day. I have to take time to debrief myself and evaluate what things transpired over the course of the week. Doing so will help me know what really works and what doesn't. That way, I'll know exactly where I need to concentrate most of my efforts next week.

I already know that placing classified ads to attract new writers who may be looking for writing gigs proved to be really prosperous. I know I have to be sure to make time in my schedule next week to devote more time to this issue. After all, that's what the point of this blog is. To reach out to writers like myself, who can use the cash they'll make writing articles for Constant Content.

Anyway, this post today is just short and sweet. The thought I want to highlight today is:

TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO REWARD YOUR HARD WORK!

Inactive Writers Lead To A Loss of Cash!

I just returned from my morning walk and I am absolutely PUMPED!
Maybe it’s because I am sincerely happy waking up every morning when I remember I have Constant Content in my life! I'm an active content writer that is finally making some cash. No, I don't claim to have gotten rich quick, or gotten rich at all for that matter. But I am earning cash at CC and getting paid for what I absolutely love doing, article writing.

Now that my article writing career is on the right path, I am confident I will soon be able to make enough money to sufficiently support myself. I realize now, thanks to the available writing jobs found at CC, my ultimate success depends 100% on me! I will continue getting paid for the writing I provide because I am constantly working to improve my writing. I'm late to bed and early to rise when it comes to my writing. But more than anything else, I am gaining more and more success getting paid for writing because I am PLUGGED IN!

I know some people will end up reading this post and think it’s a lot of hype. Trust me, it’s not! And guess what? I’m so ecstatic about getting paid writing for CC, I don’t care if you believe me or not!

I don’t mean to offend, but unless you can relate to what I’ve been dealing with in my life, you can’t possibly understand what finding solid writing jobs like those at Constant Content can mean.

When I think about it, I guess I’ve had the stereo-typical writer’s life and I’ve had to fight with the stereo-typical writer's demon. You know the one. It keeps you in constant internal conflict, struggling with the dilemma of creativity versus practicality. Coming from a economically disadvantaged environment, this can be a particularly hard battle. When you’re already poor, you can’t afford to compound the situation by living in a creative state of mind where practicality has no place. Attempting to throw caution to the wind and indulge your creative passions can take you from poor, to poverty to destitution (If you don’t know the difference between the three, chances are you’re neither of them).

CC Is All That and A Bag of Chips!

I didn’t mean to go in this direction with my writing today, but I think it's important for my readers to understand, when I say I absolutely love CC – I SINCERELY LOVE CC.

I’m sure some readers out there know what it’s like to want to do nothing but live a writer’s life. A life where your writing actually sustains you and provides the freedom to do nothing more than live a peaceful existence. To enjoy simple luxuries as opposed to extravagant ones. All in a colorful and exciting world instead of a boring and mundane shade of grey! When you finally get your ‘EUREKA” moment with Constant Content, you’ll totally get what I mean. Get Plugged In and Stay Plugged In!

Yesterday, I created a little buzz and had quite a bit of success directing other writers to CC. I was able to do this via an article I wrote for another site (SEE: Yesterday’s Blog Post). I still stand behind my suggestion to not allow other websites monopolize your valuable writing time UNLESS you’re benefiting in a very real way. But like I mentioned, I was more than a little pleased with my little experiment yesterday, so I decided it was worth a couple of hours today to try it again.

Therefore, with the same motivation and reasoning, I have created a Hub page in order to nudge writers over to this Constant Content blog. I am actually targeting existing CC writers who are barely active or who are at a standstill. I believe there is a large number of frustrated CC writers who are stagnate.

I can only imagine how it feels to see the potential for a solid income writing for CC, but for whatever reason, not being able to achieve it. I personally believe anyone that is in that category has not allowed themselves to get plugged in. This involves crucial steps that should be taken when you first start out with Constant Content. Creating good writing patterns now will provide an excellent model for all your future writing endeavors. Constant Content forces you to write your best. They won't accept anything less. Without admitting that fact, this has been a barrier for some writers. Very few will actually STEP UP to their full writing potential.

I am providing this necessary information to the new CC writers on this blog, to help you all discontinue any negative writing habits at the very beginning. Not because I have a stake in you, although your writing success is my success. But because I have been that frustrated, inactive writer who always wished they could just get the right break. Well Constant Content is it, and I'm not frustrated anymore!

Ways To Make More Money With Constant Content

A typical writing day for me starts off with me getting up, stretching my body for a good 15 minutes or more and taking a morning walk. On my walks is where I get my inspiration for the day’s blog post. I started this routine this past January, when I first launched my short-lived career in affiliate marketing. While I didn’t make any money in all those months, I learned a lot about marketing and SEO. I also woke up my desire to write again. Now that I’m actually writing, I still have a tendency to dabble with marketing and promotion. It comes so natural to me now, and there’s always a need for it, regardless of what you're trying to accomplish online.

Anyway, I mention this fact because, today on my walk, I had determined what Constant Content topic I wanted to blog about. I decided to discuss three important points that would be of benefit to the writers just getting started. In particular, I wanted to talk a little about writing schedules, writing deadlines and customer stats.

After thinking about what information should go into each area, I realized this would make an excellent e-How article, so I added some more thoughts and created How to Get Paid MORE MONEY Writing Constant Content Articles. Now before anyone gets their knickers in a bunch, I know I discouraged you guys from writing for other sites when you just start out, and for some very good reasons (See Blog Post - Section: “Sharpen Your Writing Skills”). The e-How article: How to Get Paid MORE MONEY Writing Constant Content Articles is purely for marketing benefits. I have found a way to combine the 3 things that I really really love and make a profit doing it.

The first love is writing and thanks to Constant Content, my desires are finally being met (It’s a great relationship!). The second love is marketing, which has somehow gotten into my blood stream (I have to admit, it’s one of those love-hate things that you can't seem to get out of). The third love is encouraging freelancers (This is also a budding relationship that I look forward to becoming full bloom!).

Hopefully my e-How article will

1) Help existing CC writers find my blog and begin to increase their Constant Content earnings.
2) Help New writers who are not already familiar with CC so they have an opportunity to make real money with their writing.

So you see, I’m not losing my mind by returning to write for a site where I failed to profit. Success comes in many forms. If I accomplish the above two objectives, I have succeeded with my e-How article.

Here are a few good points you’ll find in the article:

* WRITING BEYOND THE DEADLINE is something that should not be a habit, but that can still be beneficial. If you see that a requested project has expired, but you are just now submitting something on the topic, submit it anyway. Articles that are submitted not as a REQUESTED CONTENT (specific customer request) submission are placed where other customers can still view and purchase them.

* WATCHING THE CUSTOMER STATS gives you insight on articles that were REQUESTED CONTENT but the date has expired. When you pay attention to a customer’s stats (found on the detail page of a customer’s REQUESTED CONTENT), you get an ideal of how often the customer purchases articles from CC. If their stat number is high, you can believe they will return for more content. They will more than likely be interested in the same topic your article that missed the deadline was on. The stats are also beneficial in first selecting a REQUESTED CONTENT topic to write on. Customers that use CC often are prone to purchase from familiar writers, thus building a rapport for repeat business.

Writing "REQUESTED CONTENT" Pays!

Greetings New Writers,

I’m late checking in on things today. I wanted to give everyone a heads up on some things. Hope everyone's day is going well so far. Mine is just getting started. It’s almost one in the afternoon, so of course I’ve been up and even out, but my real day, my “writing day” is just beginning.

I just HATE IT when what other people think is the “real world” crowds my writing life and I have to take time to do other stuff. You know what I mean. You gotta do the laundry, grocery shop, go pay bills, whatever. Not to mention if you go to school and/or a conventional job. Throw a couple of kids and a love interest into the picture and you barely have time for anything, let alone to write!

I guess I'm lucky in the sense that I'm technically unemployed right now. Ironically, it provides me more time to write. Initially I was torn between running around looking for "other" work, and trying to work on my computer at home and make something happen online. It was really hard to stay focused on anything writing related, while I was worrying about making a living.

All that is in the past now. If I continue like I'm doing, I sincerely expect the next 2 to 3 months to show a huge profit from my writing. I can honestly say, with Constant Content, I FINALLY see myself being self sufficient and relying solely on my writing to live. Constant Content makes it possible. With CC, the only obstacle to your writing success is YOU!

THERE'S WORK! WORK! WORK!

Have you guys checked out all the work assignments available right now under the ‘REQUESTED CONTENT” section? WOW!!! Just in case you haven’t found it, just go to the CC site and you'll find it located on the left side of every page, under MY ACCOUNT. There's one customer right now that needs 104 separate articles. Each one has to be a 500-word length article on an autoimmune disease. The customer provided a whole list of the different kinds. I think $20 - $30 for a 400 – 600 word article of this type is cool.

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

If that assignment doesn’t float your boat, check out one of the other assignments. There are some pretty general topics, as well as very specific ones. DON"T be timid about doing a Requested Content article. I know I felt too intimidated to do a request when I first wrote for CC. I figured I’d write something I felt comfortable writing. While you want to write what you enjoy, and feel confident about, you don’t want to stay stuck in your COMFORT ZONE. It may be cozy there, but sometimes no money in the comfort zone! You’d be surprised how comfortable you can learn to be when you write well researched articles that you didn’t feel so cozy about, but you GET PAID FOR THEM!

TIP: Whether you write a request or choose your own topic, your writing has to be just as well written or it won’t pass the CC editor screening process. If an article is rejected (I have had a few and so has everyone else), you’ll have to make necessary corrections before resubmitting. Since the same rules apply for all submissions, you might as well write what you KNOW is wanted (requests), as opposed to what you THINK is a good topic to write about.

Short & Sweet Articles Can Pay Off!

I would like to take this time to WELCOME 2 new Constant Content writers. Reno K and Florence E joined us today and I am happy to have them come on board! To jumpstart your writing for CC, be sure to check out the previous blog posts, especially the GETTING STARTED post, as well as the Avoid Procrastination & Stay Focused post. Modifying old articles can be a good place to start. You may be surprised at how many existing articles you have that can be re-worked and submitted. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

DON'T OVERLOOK SHORT WRITING ASSIGNMENTS
When writing for CC, typically the projects that require more words pay more. This, however, is not always the case. Some customers will pay more for topics that have a high demand, even if they only require 300 to 600 words. On the other hand, some customers are only working with a small budget (or either they are just cheap!) and they will offer $10 or $20 for a 1000 word article. I personally would not write anything of that length for that rate, but it is totally up to the writer.

I say all this to say, pay close attention to the project details, and don't assume because it's a long assignment it pays more, or because it's a short assignment, it pays less.

There are many 600-word article projects that pay $10 - $20. They only take about an hour or so to knock out, so when you don't feel like researching and writing a long drawn out article, write a couple of these short assignments instead. There are several of these available on Constant Content right now.

Constant Content Writers: Avoid Procrastination & Stay Focused

Hello fellow writers and bloggers. I mean no disrespect because I seem to make a distinction between writer and blogger. I only do that because I realize that many writers on the Blogger.com network became writers because of blogging. For their own individual reasons, some choose to do nothing BUT blog. Sometimes I may specifically address them. The group I refer to as writers is my primary target audience. That group consists of writers that are new to freelance writing and have signed up to write and make money with Constant Content (CC).

WHY EMPHASIZE CONSTANT CONTENT?

This blog will constantly sing the praises of Constant Content for a number of reasons.

1.) The sole reason for motivating new CC writers is because I want them to know there truly is a place to earn an unlimited income - no bull. How could I not sing the praises of the only site I've found where there isn't a lot of if's and's or but's about the money you make.

You Do A Good Job = Your Writing Is Published = Your Work Is Purchased = You Get Paid Your Money! Bada bing! Bada bang! What more could you ask for?

2.) As a newly paid writer for CC myself, I want other writers to feel the joy I now feel because of writing for CC. That joy comes from finally staring my dream in the face and KNOWING it is definitely attainable! I am actually getting paid for writing and I can continue to make an unlimited income with my article writing.

3.) I know there are lots of other frustrated writers out there like I was. Knowing that you're good enough to make money with your writing but never seeming to catch the right break. After a while, your spirit gets low and you start to wonder if maybe you're fooling yourself about your writing. Maybe you'll never do any substantial writing and get paid. At least you can blog or post on sites that are all too happy to exploit your writing talents for free! Constant Content has helped me to see that my writing skills are not a problem, my writing habits are.

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE

Really and truly taking your writing to the next level will require you get off your ass and write! I know that sounds harsh and maybe even offensive. I'm sincerely not trying to offend anyone or step on any toes. I'm only voicing how I used to feel myself, just a few short weeks ago. This very talk is what motivated me to do what I just told you. Even if your situation allows you to stay home and write on a full time basis, if you're going to be a professional article writer, you will have to WORK! That means don't procrastinate! Instead of putting off writing until it's convenient or comfortable to do, write any and every time you can. Don't just take time to write, make time to write.

One great thing about schedules is you can always adjust them. If you have a set time to write and it fits into your busy life, great. If you get an awesome article ideal but it's not your scheduled writing time, juggle your time if you can, and write it anyway! The point is, don't get in the habit of putting your writing off. The more you do it, the more you want to do it.

I don't want to give the impression that I've made so much money on Constant Content, because I haven't, BUT I WILL. That's what I'm trying to say to freelance writers who can relate to my feelings. I can and will make money because when you write and submit regularly to CC, you can't NOT make money! From what I've seen, it's possible to earn a legitimate income that you can actually rely on. The key is to keep writing and submitting. There are new writing assignments coming in everyday. The writers who get the big bucks for these jobs are the ones who are alert and who submit their work right away. You absolutely cannot afford to procrastinate if you want to get paid at Constant Content.

Don't Get Distracted - Keep Your Focus

My biggest complaint used to be that I never had the right opportunity to actually write and make money for REAL. Like other misguided writers online, I've believed a lot of hype and tried a lot of marketing ideals. But those things only served to take time away from what I really should have been doing - writing.

It's hard not to get distracted online. There are so many things vying for our attention and making us think it's the answer we've been searching for. But I say to you, if you want to make a living with your writing, there is one thing that you have to do, above all else, JUST WRITE!

If you want to succeed as a paid freelance writer, especially for Constant Content, you can't afford to be distracted with unprofitable writing activities. Every writer must reach their own turning point where they know that they can make it and they accept the credit and blame from that point forward. No More Excuses! My turning point came when I realized:

* I CAN AND WILL MAKE IT AS A PAID WRITER
* THERE IS SOMEWHERE FOR ME TO GET AN UNLIMITED SUPPLY OF PAID WORK
* THE ONLY BARRIER TO MY WRITING BEING PURCHASED IS ME

Don't Procrastinate!

For years I have wanted to do nothing more than to write and get paid for my writing. Not to become a Pulitzer Prize winner, not to achieve fame and fortune, JUST to become self-sufficient due to my writing.

I could take time to give a lot of excuses, as well as some very justifiable reasons why I never succeeded. I probably will do just that in my blog posts, over a period of time. But for now, it suffices to say, life happened and things didn't go the way I wanted. I see all that changing now because I’M FINALLY A PAID WRITER! All thanks to Constant Content! I love you CC!!!

Constant Content Article Writing - Getting Started

To all my fellow writers. Happy AFTER 4th of July! I don't know about you guys, but I'm glad it's over! I can't stand firecrackers. I pray not too many people were injured in yesterday's nationwide celebrations. I haven't tuned into the news or checked the stats yet. I do know that before I went to bed, I saw that a truck carrying fireworks had exploded somewhere here in California where I live. Lives were lost, and I imagine that was only the beginning of the "festivities". I feel bad for everyone involved. I'm afraid to listen to today's news.

Moving on to the topic at hand. I decided to start off on the right foot by sharing everything I do that is Constant Content (CC) related. That is why I have provided the SUGGESTIONS at the bottom of this blog post. They give you an ideal of what I'm doing to increase my own CC earnings. Although I have sold a couple of articles since I've been with CC, I am still relatively new, therefore still learning. I assume that my readers are primarily new writers who want to learn more about article writing on Constant Content.

If you are ready to GET PAID REAL MONEY for your writing, you have to be ready and willing to take your writing to another level. That means:

VIEWING YOURSELF AS A PROFESSIONAL!

When (or if) you go to a job everyday, you probably report and answer to someone else. If you fail to do what is required of you, you will fail to get paid. Not only that, after a while you will probably be handed a pink slip and shown the door. In other words, when you work for someone else, you tend to stay on your "A" game and do your best. You realize your livelihood depends on it. The same must be true when it comes to your freelance writing career. If you want to be viewed as a professional and get paid on a regular basis, you have to perfect your writing.

Choosing to write for Constant Content and make money REGULARLY is a smart decision. Once you get that first payment you will be so excited to see that you really can do it! You can finally earn a real, unlimited income with your writing. That means you are making a conscious decision to be a professional writer. Whether you write on a full time or part time basis, if you write consistently you will improve and fine tune your writing skills. That is what professional writers do.

SHARPEN YOUR WRITING SKILLS

Following this blog and networking with other Constant Content writers in the CC Forum will help you really get into the swing of writing for CC. While other people may encourage you to try writing for different sites that accept writing submissions, I personally discourage it. One reason is because writing for Constant Content is different from writing for the other sites. It is also different from blogging. The more you write for CC, the better you get at knowing exactly what their customers want. Sharpening your writing skills translates into making more money!

What does being a professional writer for CC mean? It simply means to give your writing a lot more thought and a lot more attention than you would a blog post or an article you'd post somewhere else. I find I sometimes get lazy with my writing when I blog or submit to other places. Constant Content keeps me on my toes.

Constant Content Customers have been known to pay anywhere from $10 - $200 for articles that vary from 300 - 1500 words. These customers deserve writing that is interesting, concise, understandable, grammatically correct and error-free. * Look Through Your Collection of Writing
While some writers may want to jump right in and start writing new articles for CC, one good ideal is to go through material you already have written. Constant Content wants unique writing that has not been published. You probably already have some stuff on "a shelf" that you can submit to one or more of the listed categories.

* Update & Modify Previously Written Material
If you find old writing that you can re-work, you may just need to update the information or tweak it a little just to punch it up. Proofread the articles thoroughly after you modify them.

* Submit Your Work & KEEP Writing
It may possibly take 1 - 3 days to get your articles accepted, depending on how busy the CC editor is. My suggestion is to just SUBMIT them and FORGET them. Don't sit around waiting. Keep writing! If accepted by CC, portions of the articles will be made available to customers who are looking for content (READ EXACTLY HOW CONSTANT CONTENT WORKS). If the articles are rejected, you will have a chance to make necessary corrections or changes, and submit the articles again. By then, you will have a better understanding about the article submission process.

Beware Of Common Obstacles To Writing

To all my fellow writers. I hope everyone is having a peaceful 4th of July. I say "peaceful" in the sense that you're not dealing with any DRAMA - a least for the day! It's really hard being a writer. I think we're in one of the most misunderstood creative groups of artists there are. Especially with regard to the way people RESPECT our time, or DISRESPECT it! An incident occurred just prior to me getting to write a post about something entirely different. Of course the writer in me had to switch gears and address the incident the only way I know how,write about it. That is why I am writing: Beware Of Common Obstacles To Writing

The reason I make this statement is because I've discovered something important about my writer self. When I analyzed my writing life (any and everything I've done over the years that was writing related), I realized that I have allowed obstacles to block my writing success.

I started journal writing late in life, during a time when I was in desperate need of a healthy outlet for frustration. Journal writing led me to pursue journalism and writing has been in my blood ever since. Now for the point of the discussion. Over the years, I have somehow managed to NOT SUCCEED doing what I not only love, but what I know I'm good at. I never fully got how that was possible. But as I've grown older and become more determined about my writing career, I've learned a great deal. I now believe a the reasons for my failure to excel were (among other things):

Spending too much time GETTING READY TO WRITE
Spending too much time LEISURE WRITING BECAUSE IT FEELS GOOD
Failing to VIEW SELF AS A PROFESSIONAL WRITER
Failing to RESPECT MY WRITING TIME
Letting OTHERS FAIL TO RESPECT MY WRITING TIME
Continuing to WRITE IN MY COMFORT ZONE

These are just a few of the things I know have been barriers to me becoming a more prolific writer. Writing is an art and like any other art, you have to perfect it. Once you get it down, you have to continue to keep up with everything related to your art. As ideals and trends began to change the way things are done, you have to sometimes re-learn your art. Then you perfect it some more. All this takes time and the right attitude.

I see my many mistakes so clearly and there is much I hope to not only discuss here in this blog, but on comments as well. Therefore I welcome comments from all fellow writers.

My time is short today, but I plan to elaborate on the above points in an upcoming blog post, so please return again.

No More Excuses - Time To GET PAID!

I'm Charmaine - fellow freelance writer and online marketer. I say online marketer with a smile because in spite of all my efforts, I haven't actually made any money with marketing. In the past six months I've been struggling for some kind of success with contextual advertising and affiliate marketing. While my efforts have not been exactly fruitful when it comes to money, my efforts have not been in vain. I have learned a lot about marketing and other related issues that all tie into writing online.

From day one, my REAL objective has been to be able to get paid for my writing and never work another unwanted job again. Now that I have found Constant Content, an excellent website for serious-minded writers, I'm starting to REALLY earn money with my writing. I'm making money writing articles for people who are actually looking for what I write.

I have been freelancing on an "off and on" basis for years. I've written a lot of stuff online (mostly for no pay), and I've been a contributing writer for some local publications (again for no pay). I've also exerted myself on a few occasions and found a couple of people who paid me for a writing project here and there. But up until recently, I have never been in a position to make REAL and STEADY money as a writer.

Those writers who are not familiar with Constant Content can get all the information they need about the site. Just read my two articles: CONSTANT CONTENT HUB and also e-How ARTICLE so you can find out what you're missing out on.

Those writers who want to learn and/or share ways to be more successful on CC, be sure and bookmark this blog so you can return on a regular basis. Even though Constant Content has a forum so new writers can read about what goes on at CC, my blog is specifically targeted to ways for new writers not to feel so intimidated. Writing with confidence is equally as important as grammar or other areas of your writing.

The most important thing I can say to any writer that is reading this blog is: SIGN UP FOR CONSTANT CONTENT! If you want to STOP wasting your time making pennies with your writing and start earning real dollars, this is the site you need to write for.

Even though I know I am a pretty damn good writer, for years I have managed to make one excuse after another for why I'm not a paid writer. I don't have enough time to write. I don't have the right working environment. I have too many distractions in life to focus on writing. I have consciously and subconsciously come up with every excuse in the book! I don't really know why. I guess it has something to do with the fear of succeeding (t can't be the fear of rejections because I have certainly had my share of those).

Whatever the real and made up obstacles were, I failed to be diligent about my writing. I can honestly say, my number one barrier to me making money by writing has been ME. Now I can hardly go to sleep at night because I'm so excited about all the article requests that are waiting for me to fill! If you are a writer that truly wants to step up their writing and start getting paid, it's time for you to GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY! I encourage everyone to use this blog to stay focused and on the right path in your writing career. I'll share my ups as well as my downs and I hope the viewers will do the same. If so, together we can motivate one another to become self-sufficient, PAID WRITERS.
